The CBS AMC UK Channels Partnership launched two new on-demand players - Horror Bites and CBS Catchup Channels UK with Simplestream. Their Freeview plans were a perfect fit for Simplestream's one stop shop app approach including PIN protection for access to age-gated content.


Solutions

Simplestream's HbbTV product, that is approved by YouView, Freeview Play, Freesat and EE was deployed, including a dedicated HTML5 Application containing 28 Day Catchup using our automated Live-2-VOD capabilities, as well as box sets to keep the viewers happy.


Results

Our Hybrid TV solution has helped AMC to access 11 million new homes and new audiences through Freeview and YouView, as well as granular viewing data that will help them shape their content and customer strategies.
